Before You Download
What you'll need to run MT5 Simulator.
Windows desktop or laptop. MetaTrader 5 is a Windows application. Mac users can run it via Parallels, Boot Camp, or a Windows cloud VM.
MT5 only. MT4 is not supported.
1 to 2 GB per instrument for historical data.
Set Windows display scale to 100% if the Start button doesn't appear. Windows 7 users need Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or higher.

Install, Activate, Start Practicing

In MetaTrader, go to File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts → Advisors.
Copy the Simulator file into that folder, then restart MetaTrader.
Open the Navigator (Ctrl+N) and drag the simulator onto a fresh chart.
Enable DLL imports and Algo Trading, then enter your email and activation code.
