Does MT5 Simulator work on Mac?
MT5 Simulator runs inside MetaTrader 5, which is a Windows application. Mac users can run it through Parallels, Boot Camp, or a Windows cloud VM. Full setup support is available if you need help.
Which brokers does it work with?

Why are my charts blank after starting the simulator?
This almost always means the Forex Simulator.exe file is still blocked by Windows. Windows blocks files downloaded from the internet, and the simulator can't load chart data until the file is unblocked. To fix it, open MetaTrader, go to File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Files. Right-click Forex Simulator.exe, choose Properties, tick the Unblock checkbox at the bottom of the General tab, and click OK. Then restart MetaTrader and start the simulator again. See step 7 of the installation guide for a screenshot.
Why do I get an error when downloading historical data?
This is usually caused by the data folder. By default, the simulator saves data to your Documents folder, which on many PCs is synced to OneDrive, restricted by Windows, or short on space. To fix it, click Download Historic Data to open the Data Center, click Change Folder, and choose a local folder with plenty of free space (for example D:\MT5Data or C:\MT5Data). The selected folder appears in green at the top of the window. Each instrument needs about 1–2 GB, so make sure the drive has enough room. Then try the download again.
