Installation Guide
Step 1
Before proceeding with the installation process, Windows 7 users should ensure that Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is installed on their computers. To check if it is already installed, follow these steps:
- Click on the “Start” button and navigate to the “Control Panel.”
- In the Control Panel, search for “Programs” and click on “Programs and Features.”
- Look for “Microsoft .NET Framework” in the list of installed programs. If you find “Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5” or a higher version, you are all set, and you can skip this step.
Step 2
After purchasing our simulator you will get some files on your registered email, please download those files.
Make sure that you know the location of the file on your disk so that you can find it.
To locate downloaded files on your disk:
- Press Ctrl + J in your web browser.
- Right-click on the file and choose “Show in Folder” or “Open Downloads Folder.”
- The file’s location on your disk will be displayed in Windows Explorer or your file manager.
Step 3
Open your Meta-trader platform and go to File -> Open Data Folder in main menu. A new window should open showing your Data Folder.
Step 4
Open MQL5 folder, then go to Experts folder and then go to the Advisors folder.
Step 5
Copy or move the downloaded Simulator1.0-N9D.ex5 file into the target folder (MQL5\Experts\Advisors).
Step 6
Now go back to MQL5 folder and then go to the Files folder. Now move the other downloaded files here.
Step 7
Restart Metatrader.
Step 8
Open the Navigator window in Metatrader (Ctrl + N or View -> Navigator). MT5 Simulator (Simulatorv1.4-PGV-29-7) Forex Simulator should appear on the list of your Expert Advisors in the Navigator window.
Now the installation is finished.
Startup and Activation
Step 1
Open a new chart of your choice (select any instrument and timeframe).
Next, access the Navigator panel and locate the Simulatorv1.4-PGV-29-7. Simply drag and drop the Forex Simulator from the Navigator onto the newly opened chart.
Keep in mind that using a new empty chart is recommended as the Forex Simulator will clear the chart by removing all existing Expert Advisors (EAs), indicators, and graphical objects. This ensures a clean slate for an optimal simulation experience.
Step 2
Configuration window will appear. Tick the checkbox to Allow DLL imports.

Login window will appear.
- If you would like to work in full mode, select Original mode and enter your license details (e-mail and activation code) in the input fields.
- Enabling Save credentials will tell the simulator to remember your e-mail and activation code on this Metatrader platform.
Step 5
Forex Simulator will verify your license and start. If there are any problems with activating the simulator, a message will be shown.
You are now ready to use the simulator.
